How to play Pigeonstein 3D

Everybody drops into the same arena with a seed blaster and two eggs, and the first to 15 splats wins, or whoever has the most when three minutes run out. It is drawn the way Wolfenstein 3D was, one ray per column, with doors that slide open as you walk up to them.

There are five weapons on the keys 1 to 5: your beak, the seed blaster, a seed scatter that is ruinous up close, a seed gatling, and an egg launcher that splashes everyone nearby, you included. Crumbs heal, feathers give armour, and the best guns sit in the middle of each map where the fights are.

Eight arenas come round in turn, indoors and out: a brick loft, a courtyard round a fountain, a penthouse at night, a hedge maze, an underground station, a castle in the snow, a rocket silo and a bakery. On your own you get a practice bot to shoot at until somebody else turns up.
